Moody College of Communication Impact Reports
Role: Publication Design
UT Austin’s Moody College of Communication releases a yearly impact report, a publication that summarizes and celebrates the accomplishments of Moody faculty, staff, and students. While it shares college stories, news, and accolades, it also includes student snapshots, donation numbers, and efforts, making it an important fundraising tool. Every report has its own unique look, normally centered around the report’s theme for the year.
In order to decide the look, the MarCom team brainstormed the theme with me, then I created mood boards. After a few directions were chosen, I refined 2-4 concepts to present to the college dean and director of development. The concepts were then refined with their feedback.
Below are selected spreads from two out of the five impact reports I have created for Moody since 2019.

2021 Impact Report – “The Future is Moody” theme, with focus on technology and innovation with vibrant, lively spreads that mirror its subject matter.
2022 Impact Report – “Looking Up” theme, future-focused, but more abstract in execution. The cover features the skylight in one of Moody’s main buildings – an ask for readers to take a moment to exist in the moment and appreciate their environment as in person classes and events again become the norm.
